I was pleasantly surprised with the accuracy and consistency that this product has provided. The salifert has been my standard test for quite some time for my reef tanks. Over the past few months, I have been testing this brand’s Calcium/Magnesium test kit and I have really liked it. Accurate and consistent as well. So I figure I would try this one and I am glad I did! The value is excellent and it is easy to use! Literally take your time and do a single drop at a time until it changes color. Multiply your drops by 17 and then divide by 17.9 to get your dKH value. In my case, 9×17 (153) / 17.9 = 8.5 Exactly my salifert results.
