Fiddle Leaf Fig Tree Large
$ 90.00
Description The Fiddle Leaf Fig Tree is a popular indoor and outdoor plant. Native to tropical forests of Central and Western Africa, the Fiddle Leaf Fig Tree is so named because of its fiddle-shaped leaves, which bear a striking resemblance to violins, both in form and in size. The fiddle leaf fig has very large, deeply-veined, fiddle-shaped leaves growing upright. The Fiddle Leaf Fig tree is easy to take care of (with some regularity) and it will create a statement with whatever indoor decorating style you have in your house. Because we planted, cared for, and monitored your very own fiddle leaf fig tree, you will not need a green thumb for it to flourish. With our larger sizes, you instantly have a mature, lush, beautiful look of a mature Fiddle-Leaf, as we send a plant that is already established, taking all of the guesswork out of growing it for you. As your smaller plant grows, you will probably want to start shaping it to a tree. Healthy fiddle leaf fig plants may aggressively grow towards the sun, meaning that they can get too big or too tall for the space. Fiddle leaf figs do not like too much direct sunlight, too much shade, too little water, too much water, drafts, extreme changes in temperature, too little air humidity, being moved, powdering on the leaves, or your tastes in decorative pillows. These wonderful plants are a bit trickier to take care of than the various other types of indoor plants, but once you learn about fiddle-leaf figs, they will start feeling like a member of the family, and taking care of them will be second nature. If this plant does not receive adequate water, the leaves wilt and lose their vibrant green colors. If the plant gets too much water, the plant may drop leaves and get root rot, which eventually may kill it. If your green leaves have developed dark brown spots or brown edges, your plant might suffer root rot due to sitting in too much water. If you see lighter brown or bleached spots at the top of your leaves, your plant might be getting too much direct sunlight.
