DescriptionMusa Florida Variegated for sale – 6″-8″ pot sizeThe Musa Florida Variegated plant is a stunning ornamental banana plant known for its striking foliage. Its large, lush leaves display a captivating mix of green and creamy white variegation, adding an elegant touch to any indoor or outdoor space. With its unique appearance and tropical charm, this plant is a popular choice among plant enthusiasts and collectors. The holy grail under banana lovers. A magnificent plant with stunning leaves. This is not an easy Musa. It needs heat and humidity, but not (as most Musa) enormous amounts of water at the start. When you receive the plant, take it out of the package and let it dry in the shade for 2-3 hours. Remove any rotten leaves and be sure the corn is dry when you plant it. Plant it in 50% perlite 50% good potting soil. Lave or any VERY well draining material can be used. Water it a little bit, put it in a sunny spot, cut back the top 2cm. If you dont see the top shooting through in 2-3 days , cut another 2cm. Do NOT give if any fertilizer the first weeks. Only when the 3rd leave unfold you can start giving it fertilizer. Do NOT overwater it. Aeae will drink a lot of water when mature , but when young , it will rot from to much water.Give it heat from below. Overwinter it warm. This is by farm the most heat loving Musa.We ship only healthy (in pot) growing plants. We cut them back (or include leaves) and ship them bare root in a 40cm – 60cm strong cardboard box . Box specially designed for plant transport and is tested for international airfreight.PropertyDescriptionPlant TypeTropical ornamental plantScientific NameMusa spp. (cultivar: Florida Variegated)Common NameMusa Florida VariegatedGrowth HabitHerbaceous, large, clump-formingFoliageLarge, broad leaves with variegated patternsLeaf ColorsGreen with creamy-yellow variegationMature HeightAround 6 to 8 feet (1.8 to 2.4 meters)LightBright indirect light or partial shadeWateringRegular watering to keep soil consistently moistSoilWell-draining, rich soil mixHardinessUSDA Zones 9-11 (suitable for subtropical areas)MaintenancePruning dead leaves, fertilizing in growing seasonUsesOrnamental landscaping, focal point in gardensInformation:The main photo is of an adult plant for representation purposes most of the current sizes in the garden.
